Fleur Launspach is an experienced correspondent, reporter, and producer in international tv news and documentaries, also skilled in article writing, radio, and investigative documentaries.
Fleur is currently serving as the NOS correspondent for the UK & Ireland and holding the position of London bureau chief. The NOS Dutch National News is the largest news organisation in the Netherlands, delivering hourly news bulletins on television and radio. Its flagship 30-minute evening bulletin, The Eight O'Clock News, is the highest-rated news program on Dutch television, reaching up to 2 million viewers daily.
Fleur Launspach previously worked as full-time staff member at the Headquarters of Al Jazeera English in Qatar. For Al Jazeera English she worked as producer in breaking new situations and as a reporter in the field covering the Netherlands, Belgium, and Scandinavia.
Living in the Gulf for years has also brought her knowledge and insight into the current affairs and politics of the Middle East.
Before residing in the Middle East, Fleur's journalistic career led her to the remotest corners of the world. She filmed exclusive reports on a diverse range of issues, from covering rebels in the Central African Republic to documenting the Ebola crisis in Sierra Leone and shedding light on the lives of cocaine farmers in Colombia.
Fleur's work has been featured on esteemed news organizations, including the Dutch national broadcaster NOS-Nieuwsuur, Al Jazeera English, KRO-NCRV, and VICE/HBO.
